These terms govern your use of ucapre.com, the University Capital CRM at crm.ucapre.com, and the training platform at learn.ucapre.com. By using any of them you agree to what follows.

Not investment advice

This is the part that matters most. University Capital is a student-run investment program at Utah State University. Everything on this website and in our training material is provided for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing here is investment, legal, tax, or financial advice, and nothing here is an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security or interest in any fund, property, or transaction.

Past performance does not indicate future results. Real estate investments carry risk, including the loss of principal. Deals described on this site are illustrative of our work and are not offered to the public. Do not make an investment decision on the basis of anything published here; consult a qualified professional who knows your circumstances.

Educational content

Our training modules are teaching material written by University Capital. Module 01 is published openly; the remainder is available to our interns through the training platform. Examples, figures, and models in that material are simplified for instruction and should not be relied on for a live transaction.

Accounts

Accounts on the CRM and training platform are created by an administrator for University Capital interns, staff, and advisors. There is no public sign-up. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at info@ucapre.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

The CRM contains confidential business information, including contact records and transaction detail. If you have an account, you agree not to disclose that information outside University Capital, and to stop using it when your involvement with the program ends. We may suspend or remove an account at any time.

Acceptable use

• —Do not attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you have not been given access to.
• —Do not scrape, bulk-download, or republish our content or contact records.
• —Do not upload malware, or content you do not have the right to share.
• —Do not use these sites to break the law or a University policy.

Intellectual property

The content, design, and training material on these sites belong to University Capital or are used with permission. You may read and share links freely. You may not republish substantial portions without our written permission. Third-party names and marks belong to their owners.

Third-party services and links

These sites depend on third-party providers listed in our Privacy Policy, and may link to external websites we do not control. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

Availability

These are small applications run by a student organization. We make no promise of uninterrupted availability, and we may change or discontinue any part of them without notice.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

These sites and their content are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, University Capital, Utah State University, and their students, staff, and advisors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of these sites or reliance on their content.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. Continuing to use the sites after an update means you accept the revised terms.
